Tireless in helping since Yolanda to pandemic: Lacson touts Razon as PH’s ‘calamity czar’

Senator Panfilo Lacson has vouched for the sincerity of bilyonaryo Enrique Razon in helping the government’s COVID-19 fight amid criticism of the businessman’s proposed mega vaccination site in Parañaque City.

Lacson called Razon the country’s “unofficial calamity czar” for consistently helping the government whenever there’s a disaster.

“Enrique Razon Jr is the country’s unofficial ‘calamity czar.’ After Yolanda struck, he helped us organize the business sector to actively participate in our reconstruction efforts,” the senator tweeted.

“He did the same in the Marawi siege, and now, the pandemic. His only request is to let him do it,” Lacson added.

Razon will spend P250 million to build the mega vaccination hub on the Nayong Pilipino Foundation’s (NPF) sprawling property at the Entertainment City.

Ahead of its construction, the port operations magnate said the ICTSI Foundation has started training nurses and other medical personnel to handle the temperature-sensitive Moderna vaccines that will be used in the inoculation.
