Tuguegarao Mayor Jefferson Soriano wants one of his children to continue serving their city after he steps down.
Soriano is on his third and last term.
He said his family is still discussing their plans for the upcoming elections.
“I want na kung pwede, isa sa mga bata ang mag-continue ng serbisyo sa Tuguegarao,” Soriano said on Politiskoop.
But he clarified that if any of his children were to run for office, he’d like them to start with a lower position to gain proper experience.
“Mag-umpisa muna tumakbo ng konsehal siguro,” he said.
