President Rodrigo Duterte met and discussed matters with medical experts from the Israeli Ministry of Health in a courtesy call held in Malacañang on Thursday.
Photos released by Malacañang on Friday showed Duterte striking his signature pose with Israeli medical experts.
The medical experts were Ichilov Medical Center Deputy Director General Dr. Avraham Ben Zaken, Salomon Levid and Elstein Ltd Logistics and Operations Manager Dr. Adam Nicholas Segal, and Healthcare Policy and Innovation Consultant Dr. Dafna Segol.
They were accompanied by Israeli Deputy Chief of Mission to the Philippines Nir Balzam.
On one hand, the President was joined by Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity and National Task Force against Covid-19 chief implementer Carlito Galvez Jr., Senator Christopher Lawrence Go, Interior Secretary Eduardo Año, and Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque Jr.
The Israeli delegation arrived in the Philippines on Sunday to help the government in its vaccine rollout.
