Malacañang on Wednesday wished the possible tandem of Senators Panfilo Lacson and Vicente “Tito” Sotto III the “very best” in the 2022 national elections.
“We wish them the very best,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a virtual presser.
“In a democracy, kinakailangan merong pagpipilian ang taong bayan,” added Roque.
According to the latest pre-election survey by Pulse Asia, Lacson ranked seventh among the potential candidates for presidency next year.
Sotto, on one hand, placed third among possible vice-presidential bets.
