Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo on Saturday underscored the importance of completing Covid-19 vaccinations.
Those who received a first dose must have a second dose to get full protection against severe Covid-19, Panelo said during his commentary show “Counterpoint.”
“Dapat ‘yung publiko, ‘yung mga naturukan na noong una, magpaturok kayo ng dalawa para siguradong protektado na kayo ng pagkamaselan na sakit ng coronavirus,” the Place official said.
He again reminded vaccinated individuals to keep following safety protocols as they could still get infected.
Panelo made the statement after the Food and Drug Administration reported that Covid-19 vaccination has reduced the risk of infection and death.
