Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said he will undergo a complete medical check-up before making a decision on the 2022 elections.
“Ako ay magpapa-schedule ng through physical checkup bago dumating ang buwan ng Setyembre para nga po malaman kung ano ang estado natin,” Roque told DZBB Monday.
In 2019, Roque ran but withdrew his senatorial bid due to a heart condition.
“Titingnan muna natin. Ayoko munang umasa dahil nung minsan tayo ay umasa eh di naman pupuwede dahil sa ating medical condition,” the spokesperson said.
“So, pinagdadasal natin at titingnan natin kung ano ang sasabihin ng mga duktor,” he added.
Based on Pulse Asia’s survey conducted from June 7 to 16, 2021, Roque ranked 30th to 33rd among possible senatorial contenders, with a preferential rating of 10.4 percent.
