Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Carpio has stepped up the vaccination campaign in her hometown.
The mayor recently visited 25 vaccination sites in Davao City and reminded the public not to forget their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
In photos posted on Facebook, the President’s daughter was clad in her trademark green shirt that featured four COVID-19 health reminders.
“Binisita po natin ang apat sa 25 vaccination fixed sites sa Davao City para personal na magpasalamat sa vaccinees sa kanilang pagpabakuna at taos pusong moral support sa frontliners,” she said.
“Niremind din natin ang nagpabakuna na siguruhing maka-2 doses sila para siguradong epektibo ito,” she said.
When she visited the vaccination hubs, the mayor also reminded vaccinated individuals to continue to observe health protocols in the face of the highly transmissible Delta variant.
The country’s cases of coronavirus have recently spiked amid the Delta threat despite the lockdown protocols enforced by the national government.
“Pinaalalahan din po natin silang sundin parati ang minimum health protocols para iwas CoVid, lalo na sa Delta variant. Amping permi!” the mayor said
