President Rodrigo Duterte said he doesn’t hold a grudge against the United States (US).
In his public address Thursday, Duterte acknowledged the Covid-19 vaccines donated by the US government.
“Sabi nila galit daw ako sa America. Hindi ako galit sa America lalo na kung magbibigay sila ng bakuna,” the Chief Executive said.
“Ano na rin, nagmamagandang loob na rin yung tao eh. In some matters of government policy, yun lang naman. I have nothing against America,” he added.
The US has already donated at least 13.2 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines to the Philippines.
