Duterte comments on Ping Lacson’s hairdo, asks senator: ‘Are you honest?’

Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson’s hairstyle has not been spared criticism from President Rodrigo Duterte.

During his taped weekly address aired Tuesday, Duterte said Lacson was sporting a new hairstyle.

The Chief Executive made the remark after he accused “talkative” Senator Richard Gordon, chairman of the blue ribbon committee leading the investigation into the government’s anti-Covid funds, of monopolizing Senate inquiries.

“Pati ‘yung buhok mo iba na ang hinapay. Lahat kayo, pati si Ping, iba ang hairdo,” according to him.

Duterte also threatened to release documents against Lacson, a presidential candidate in the 2022 national elections.

“There will be questions in the days to come na lalabas. Semento, well, marami pa. Nagpunta dito ‘yung mga kalaban mo, nagbigay rin ng dokumento. So, babasahin namin ‘yan,” the President said.

“Are you honest? Answer me truthfully. Kay kung magsabi ka ‘yes’, sasagutin kita next program. May ipakita ako,” he added.
