President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday congratulated Japanese Ambassador Kazuhiko Koshikawa for Japan’s successful hosting of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
In a speech during the awarding of incentives to Filipino Olympic medalists, Duterte also wished for the success of the Paralympic Games.
“I wish to congratulate Ambassador Kazuhiko for Tokyo’s successful hosting of the 2020 Olympics,” the Chief Executive said.
“May the upcoming 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo also become a resounding success,” he added.
The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games will start today, August 24.
