Vice President Leni Robredo laughed off reports that she’s dating someone 18 years her junior.
There’s no truth to the rumor, Robredo said during an interview with Toni Gonzaga-Soriano on her vlog.
“Para sa akin yung mga sinasabi niyo na meron akong boyfriend na 18 years younger than I am, hindi naman totoo, bahala kayo diyan,” according to her.
The Vice President also addressed allegations that she was having an affair with a married man.
“When I was VP already… I was at the receiving end of a lot of fake news. Mahirap siya in the sense na, siyempre, nanay ako, widow ako, sasabihan ka na, ‘You have an affair with a married man’,” said Robredo.
When asked how she fight these lies, she told Gonzaga-Soriano: “Ako kasi, tingin ko, ‘yung clear conscience is the best.”
