Fourteen multi-sectoral groups from Binalbagan, Isabela and Himamaylan, Negros Occidental pledged their support for Lacson and Sotto on August 4.
Members of the organizations signed a manifesto of support expressing confidence in Lacson’s anti-corruption campaign and his leadership.

The groups which signed the manifesto include those under FEMSAB multisectoral association, three chapters of the Alpha Kappa Rho Fraternity & Sorority (AKRHO) and the BIGALS (Binalbagan Gays and Lesbians Society).
Members of BIGALS and AKRHO took part in HIV screening and turned over T-shirts with photos of Lacson and Sotto, which will be given away to supporters.
BIGALS was one of the youth organizations which urged Lacson to run for president at an event in Bacolod City last June 12.
Lacson and Sotto have reset the official launch of their tandem to Sept. 8 from August 4 due to restrictions put in place to curb the spread of COVID-19.
