Minutes of the meeting also identified Pacquiao as the party’s president. His brother, Rogelio, was named as PCM’s executive vice president. PCM officials met at the Pacquiao Compound, NLSA Road, Lagao, General Santos City.
Pacquiao founded PCM in 2009 as a regional political party, covering General Santos City and Sarangani.
Matibag, an ally of Energy Secretary and PDP-Laban president Alfonso Cusi, said Pacquiao “has virtually created for himself a rabbit hole” with his alleged plan to make PCM a national political party. The move, he added, could lead to the senator’s “expulsion” from PDP-Laban.
