Lipa, Batangas is close to the heart of this power politiko couple.
Although they enjoy the urban life, Senator Ralph Recto and wife Batangas Rep. Vilma Santos still escape to their vast farm in Lipa for some quiet countryside living.
The “Villa Rosa Ranch,” the second home named after Cong. Vi, has recently been featured on the YouTube channel of her daughter-in-law Jessy Mendiola Manzano.
In the video, the actress-turned-politiko gives the viewers a tour of the property, admitting it has been a dream to have their own farm. Her hubby and son Luis were also present during the farm tour.
The sprawling Lipa farm include the resthouse, an outdoor chapel, cows, horses, peacocks and other birds, coconut trees and other fruit-bearing trees.
“Dream ko talaga magkaroon ng farm. ‘Yung may mga tanim, ‘yung mayroon kang naha-harvest, may mga birds, may mga hayop. Talagang ‘yun ang dream ko matagal na,” Cong. Vi said in the video.
The former Lipa governor said the family ranch, located near Mt. Malarayat, is also place to relax and unwind. She said Lipa has a good breezy weather, perfect for a relaxation place.
