The Department of Information and Communication Technology will launch the National Digital Vaccine Certificate or VaxCertPH tomorrow, September 6, Malacañang confirmed Saturday.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque in a statement said the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has given the greenlight for the soft launch of the VaxCertPH on Monday.
“The IATF likewise approved the September 6, 2021 soft launch of the VaxCertPH,” according to Roque.
The secretary noted that overseas Filipino workers and Filipinos from Metro Manila and Baguio who are departing abroad will be prioritized in the initial phase of the implementation.
“It will later be opened to the general public and for other purposes at a later time,” he added.
