Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla is eyeing a congressional seat in the 2022 elections, taking a step further in the politiko world.
Jolo, son of Senator Bong Revilla, announced plans to run for the representative of Cavite’s 1st district after joining the Lakas-CMD party’s recent oath taking ceremony of local aspirants.
A new life chapter is how the actor-turned-politiko described his congressional bid in his latest Facebook post. The young Revilla also thanked his partner Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla for his support.
“Maraming salamat sa aking ikalawang ama, Governor Jonvic sa inyong buong suporta sa akin. Noon pa man ay pinagtibay na ang ating samahan at kailanman ay walang iwanan,” he said.
“Sa umpisa palang ay magkasama na tayo sa paglilingkod sa ating mga kababayan. Ngayong tatahakin ko ang bagong kabanata sa aking buhay, nandyan pa din kayo para sa akin. Salamat sa iyong pagmamahal at gabay,”he told Remulla.
