Missing in action! Pharmally exec who admitted to ‘swindling’ gov’t can’t be reached

The officer of Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp. who admitted to tampering with the expiration dates of face shields bought by the government can no longer be contacted by the Senate blue ribbon committee, Senator Richard Gordon said Sunday (Sept. 26).

Gordon, the committee chairman, said Pharmally regulatory affairs head Krizle Mago has been out of reach since Saturday (Sept. 25), the day after she testified at a hearing on the alleged overpriced COVID-19 supplies bought by the government from her company.

“Isang araw matapos ang kanyang pag-amin na niloko ng kompanya ang taumbayan sa pagpapalit ng expiration dates ng face masks at face shields, ‘out of reach’ na si Ms. Mago,” Gordon added.

Mago admitted to senators that she ordered Pharmally’s warehouse staff to change the expiration dates on the face shields supposedly meant for delivery to the Department of Health. She claimed the instruction came from Pharmally corporate treasurer and secretary Mohit Dargani, but he denied it.

Gordon has offered protection to Mago if she cooperates with the committee’s investigation. She said she was “very willing to cooperate” but needed time to think about the offer.
