Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation director Linconn Ong, in an open letter to senators, said he trusts that the Senate blue ribbon committee would be fair to all concerned despite claims that he was only being used for politics.
“Some tell me I’m being used for politics but I still trust that the blue ribbon committee forms decisions na fair po sa lahat,” he said in the letter coursed through his lawyer Ferdinand Topacio.
The Pharmally officer is currently detained in the Senate after he was cited in contempt for his evasive testimony during the hearings.
Ong also addressed a number of allegations against his company.
“Sa overpricing sa products that we supplied, Nag send lang po kami ng prices comfortably gaya ng ibang kompanya. even confirmed by COA walang overpricing. Ang PSDBM binili po ang presyo namin,” he said, referring to the Procurement Service of the Department of Budget and Management.
“Sa issue po ng near the expiration Test kits? Yun po talaga ang shelf life nung time na yon, 6 months only. Hindi near expiration,” he said.
“Wala rin pong ghost deliveries, we complied with ALL the requirements. Kasi if we didn’t, maba-blacklist po kami,” Ong said.
“Naiintindihan ko po ang pwedeng mangyari if I lie under oath at hindi ko po gusto ilagay ang sarili ko sa ganung sitwasyon. Andito po ako ngayon sa detention at dadalin nyo sa kulungan dahil lang po may mga bagay na hindi ko po talaga kayang sagutin at kaya nag papanic po ako sainyo at natatakot,” Ong said.
