President Rodrigo Duterte will not deliver a public address today, September 6, Malacañang said.
Because of a full schedule, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said Duterte has postponed his “Talk to the People” address to another day.
“Walang pong Talk to the People mamaya. Ang problema kasi ang daming pagpupulong ni Presidente. As you probably have noticed na last po kasi ang Talk to the People at hindi na umaabot for broadcast for the same day dahil natatapos na kami ng 1 a.m. o 2 a.m.,” according to Roque.
“Ngayon kinansel muna ang Talk to the People dahil puno ang schedule ng presidente,” he also said.
But, Roque believed Duterte will address the nation this week.
“Ang ginagawa namin ngayon, as much as possible, ‘pag mag Talk to the People walang agenda si presidente so we can broadcast on the same day,” he added.
