A power politiko couple has thrown full support behind the presidential tandem of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Dr. Willie Ong.
Batangas Rep. Vilma Santos Recto and her hubby Senator Ralph Recto have endorsed Mayor Isko’s presidential bid, commending his inspiring leadership. The statement of the House deputy speaker has been posted on Twitter by ABS-CBN reporter RG Cruz Wednesday, shortly after Mayor Isko announced his plans to seek the presidency with Ong as his running mate.
“We will support him. Mayor Isko is an inspiring and God loving leader and we can see his drive to serve the Filipino with a heart, hope and action,” the lawmaker said.
“With what he did to Manila, especially during this pandemic, we saw his focus and sincerity as a leader. May the blessings of God be with him always,” she said.
“Let’s pray for him, Doc Willie Ong and for our country,” she said.
