Some senators don’t deserve at seat in the Senate for supposedly not doing a good job.

Actor Robin Padilla has slammed senators who work under par but still refuse to retire and even continue to criticize the government. The actor, a known supporter of President Duterte, did not identify these lawmakers in his latest Facebook post.

Robin took potshots at the “noisy” and aging lawmakers after a closed-door meeting with Senator Bong Go and Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission chair Greco Belgica. The meeting was held after Robin continued to study whether he will run for senator, seek a local post in his home province of Camarines Norte, or focus on his film career

On Facebook, Robin tried to compare Go with his colleagues at the Senate. He praised Go for spearheading the construction of over 100 Malasakit Centers in the country, an accomplishment the actor said that was not attained by other senators.

A 2019 law has mandated the establishment of Malasakit Center in government hospitals, a referral facility for medical and financial assistance for indigent and financial incapacitated patients. The Malasakit Center is a pet project of the President’s former aide.
