Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque has apologized to those he offended when he “lost his bearing” during a recent virtual meeting with physician leaders.
In a virtual presser Friday, Roque admitted that he became emotional after two doctors recommended the imposition of “hard ECQ (enhanced community quarantine)” in Metro Manila amid the surge in Covid-19 cases.
Roque reiterated that the government needed to find a balance between public health and the economy.
