The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has allowed the holding of the Miss Universe Philippines coronation event from September 26 to October 1, Malacañang said Friday.
The coronation for the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 pageant will be held in Bohol, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a televised briefing.
“Pinayagan ng IATF ang grand coronation event ng Miss Universe Philippines na gaganapin po sa Bohol mula September 26 hanggang October 1, 2021,” he also said.
Roque stressed that the holding of the event will be subject to strict adherence to health and safety protocols and approval of the host province.
A total of 28 candidates across the country are competing in this year’s edition of Miss Universe Philippines.
