Senator Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri managed to get his work done with the help of new “officemates” in Tuguegarao, Cagayan.
Zubiri got a temporary work space, including free internet connection, at a civil aviation office while visiting the province this week. The senator immediately thanked the state personnel for the assistance. He was able to attend the Senate hearing on the education budget while working remotely.
“Edukasyon ang susi natin sa pag-ahon mula sa kahirapan, kaya kahit saan man tayo mapunta, siniguro nating maka-attend sa budget hearing ng CHED at SUCs,” he said on Instagram.
“Salamat sa mga bagong ‘officemates’ ko dito sa CAAP Tuguegarao Office na nagpahiram ng kanilang lamesa at internet! Sa uulitin po!” he said.
Zubiri posted photos of his visit to Cagayan, including his temporary work station at a government office. The senator from Bukidnon is seeking reelection in the 2022 elections.
