Dr. Tricia Robredo volunteers in mom Leni’s vaccination drive

The latest vaccination drive in Tarlac became a family affair of sorts for Vice President Leni Robredo.

The vice president took her pet project “Vaccine Express” to Capas town with her daughter, Dr. Tricia Robredo, tagging along.

Her daughter shared her time and skill to be one of the volunteer medical workers in the vaccination program. Tricia, a graduate of Ateneo School of Medicine, was in full protective gear while helping inoculate members of the Aeta community.

“With Tricia in Capas, Tarlac today for our Vaccine Express for the Aeta communities,” Robredo wrote on Facebook.

The veep thanked the volunteer medical workers, local government officials, and donors involved in the vaccination drive.

“Thank you to Mayor Rey Catacutan and LGU Capas, Barangay Sta Juliana, Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Ube Express, and Magsaysay Multi Purpose Cooperative for the vaccines. Thank you also to Aeta Ako, Pilipino Ako Foundation, our volunteer doctors, nurses and medical students,” she said.

Last April, Tricia was among the volunteers who participated in the vice president’s community testing project in Malabon.
