President Rodrigo Duterte was not exposed to his daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, who tested positive for Covid-19.
“[President Duterte] was never exposed,” Presidential Security Group (PSG) commander Col. Randolph Cabangbang said in a message to reporters Monday.
On Saturday, the Office of the City Mayor confirmed that Sara has Covid-19.
She has mild symptoms and is currently isolated, city public information officer Jefry Tupas said in a statement.
Last Friday, Duterte flew to Davao City after appearing at the Harbor Garden Tent in Sofitel, Pasay City to support his senatorial candidates for the 2022 elections.By Prince Golez
