Who will veteran broadcaster Korina Sanchez support in the 2022 presidential elections? The former ABS-CBN anchor is keeping her cards close to her chest for now.
In an Instagram post, Korina admitted she is friends with the presidential aspirants but will eventually share her preference with her followers online.
The former ABS-CBN anchor made the comment after three presidential hopefuls sent video greetings on her birthday. The wife of former Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas turned 57 last October 5, 2021.
Among those who sent well-wishes to Korina are Vice President Leni Robredo, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso. The three bets are included in the surprise tribute video prepared by Korina’s staff.
“Sa mga nagtatanong, di ko alam bakit wala ang ibang presidentiables 🤪 Baka busy o di natawagan🤣 Wala po akong kinikilingan. Lahat sila ay kaibigan. At ako po’y magbibigay ng impormasyon at katotohanan sa mga pagkakataon na ito ay kailangan.💚🇵🇭#ParaSaBayan,” she wrote on Instagram.
Korina appreciated the birthday wishes sent by Robredo, Pacquiao, and Domagoso, whom she said she interviewed over the years.
“Pacquiao, Moreno. Robredo: At ito naman ang mga pasabog sa akin ng Rated Korina Staff. 😃Nakakataba naman ng puso na kinikilala kahit paano ng mga public servants yung pagseserbisyo ko din sa publiko (na madalas hindi ko na pinapakita),” she said.
“But these guys are aware —- sa tagal ng mga taon na iniinterview ko sila at sinusundan ang kuwento. Nasusundan din nila ako. ☺️ Super salamat sa mga Presidentiables natin na sina Sen. Manny Pacquiao, Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso at Maam VP Leni Robredo. 😘🥰😍,” she added.
