Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque on Sunday reminisced about the time when he ran for a Senate seat in 2019.
In his official Facebook page, Roque shared his first senatorial campaign advertisement in a bid to convince the public to support his candidacy.
With only a few months left before the election, the abogado, however, dropped out of the race due to health reasons.
Fast forward to 2021, Roque said he would only run for senator in the 2022 elections should Davao City Sara Duterte-Carpio vie for the country’s top post.
Duterte-Carpio didn’t file her candidacy for president on October 8, the last day of the filing of the certificate of candidacy.
