Palace wants US authorities to probe slain of Pinay nurse: Prosecute the killer

Malacañang on Monday urged the United States (US) government to “investigate” and “prosecute” the individual who recently attacked a Filipino nurse in Times Square, New York City.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque made the statement following the death of 58-year-old Maria Ambrocio, a health frontliner from Bayonne, New Jersey.

All victims of violations of the right to life are entitled to a speedy domestic remedy, Roque said during his televised briefing.

“We appeal to the US administration to investigate and prosecute the killer of this Filipino nurse,” according to him.

“We call upon the US government to do what is incumbent upon any state where there is a killing,” he added.
