Roque ‘praying’ for Inday Sara to run for president: Sana matuloy

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque is praying that Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio will run for president in the 2022 national elections.

“Nagdadasal pa rin po tayo na sana po matuloy na ang kandidatura ni Mayor Sara,” Roque said in a Laging Handa public briefing Friday.

The secretary said he will file his certificate of candidacy for senator should Duterte decide to push through with her presidential bid.

“Sa totoo lang po hindi ko po alam kung naririto pa ako sa Lunes dahil sinabi ko naman po na tayo ay maghahain ng certificate of candidacy kung maghahain si Mayor Sara Duterte,” said Roque.

“So kung matutuloy ang paghain na ‘yan, baka mamaya, kinakailangan magpaalam na ngayon. Pero kung hindi matuloy yan, I’ll see you on Monday,” he added.
