Who’s got the jab? SC tells courts to report COVID-19 vax data

The Supreme Court (SC) has directed trial courts nationwide to report who have been vaccinated and unvaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.

SC’s Court Administrator Jose Midas Marquez gave the directive under in a circular dated Oct. 7.

Under the circular, Marquez instructed all clerk of courts and branch clerk of courts to accomplish the month COVID-19 vaccination report “on or before the 20th day of each month, for the monthly period period beginning on the 16th day of the preceding month until the 15th day of the succeeding month, starting on or before 20 October 2021.”

“The Monthly COVID-19 Vaccination Report shall indicate the total number of personnel in each court of office (including contractual and detailed local government unit employees) and the number of vaccinated personnel,” he said.

“Once a report has been submitted that the presiding judge and all the court personnel have been fully vaccinated, the concerned clerk of court need no longer submit subsequent reports unless new personnel are thereafter appointed in the said court or office,” he added.
