Viral for wrong reasons: TV5 disowns art card showing Robredo beat Marcos Jr

TV5 said an art card it posted online has been altered to show Vice President Leni Robredo leading in a presidential survey conducted by Publicus Asia.

In a Facebook post Tuesday (November 2), TV5 said the correct art card showed former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. as the candidate to beat in Publicus Asia’s survey, with a 49.3% rating. Robredo was in far second place at 21.3%.

TV5 accompanied its Facebook posst with links to the correct art card and survey results.

In a separate statement, Publicus Asia urged those interested in studying the survey results to check their website directly “to avoid confusion and misleading information.”
