Health Secretary Francisco Duque III on Thursday commended Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles for a job well done as acting presidential spokesperson.
During the culmination activity of the Bayanihan, Bakunahan: National Covid-19 Vaccination Days in Mandaluyong City, Duque called Nograles as “one of the most effective spokespersons that this administration has ever had.”
Nograles also serves as the co-chairman and the spokesperson of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.
“Si Mr. Cool, and yet very professional. He inspires engagement from the public by his demeanor and he really knows his craft so to speak,” the Department of Health chief said.
Last month, President Rodrigo Duterte designated Nograles as his acting spokesperson after Atty. Harry Roque resigned from the post to seek a seat in the Senate next year.
