Any threat made to President Rodrigo Duterte and his family won’t be taken lightly, the Presidential Security Group (PSG) warned.
In a statement, PSG chief Jesus Durante said that violators would be held liable for their actions.
“As we fight this pandemic, may we choose to utilize social media platforms to make useful contributions and not violate any law in expressing personal views and opinions,” according to Durante
The PSG, he added, will continuously work with the law enforcement agencies to monitor and apprehend those who are responsible for such acts.
Last Tuesday, the National Bureau of Investigation filed a sedition complaint against public high school teacher Ronnel Mas, who offered a P50-million reward to anyone who could kill Duterte.
Construction worker Ronald Deliaba Quiboyen was also arrested in Malay, Aklan recently after offering P100 million for the killing of the President.
