Allaying public concerns, Palace assures Duterte’s health: Malakas pa sa kalabaw

President Rodrigo Duterte is stronger than a water buffalo, according to Malacañang.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque issued the statement in response to claims on the state of Duterte’s health.

“Malusog po pero malakas pa nga sa kalabaw,” Roque said in an interview with state-run Radyo Pilipinas Monday.

“Nagpumilit na, nagpunta na po ng Jolo muli at narito na po siya muli sa Metro Manila at magpupulong nga po kami mamaya sa kaniya at siya po ang mag-aanunsiyo kung ano ang mga classification galing na po dito sa Maynila,” according to him.

Duterte, he added, is also scheduled to attend a Jordan-led virtual conference this week.

“Sa linggong ito ay mayroon din siyang appointment sa isang international event, iyong Aqaba Process na sinimulan po ng Hari ng Jordan,” Roque concluded.
