Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said 17 prosecutors have been appointed by Malacanang.
Guevarra said the appointments were released by Malacanang last Wednesday (Aug. 19).
Among them, Puerto Princesa City will be getting a new city prosecutor, namely, Carmelina Ceniza-Guevarra.
The appointments include two Laguna senior assistant provincial prosecutors and six Quezon assistant provincial prosecutors.
The others have been assigned as assistant city prosecutors.
The Palace had approved the appointment of 24 prosecutors in July and 59 in June.
