Senator Manny Pacquiao’s second son was interested in following in his footsteps, but changed career paths because he got no support.
Michael Pacquiao shared he was also interested in boxing in an interview with Philippine Star entertainment editor Ricky Lo.
“I was into boxing for two years,” said Michael in interview posted Wednesday (August 19).
“But I stopped because there was no support; no one was supporting me,” he added.
Michael’s revelation comes as a surprise considering his father has been supportive of the budding boxing career of his older brother, Jimuel.
The eight-division world boxing champ had posted photos and videos of training Jimuel on social media.
Michael is starting to carve a new name for himself as a rapper, with he video for his debut single, “Hate,” getting over 10 million views on YouTube.
