President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday urged Congress leaders to craft pieces of legislation to eliminate bureaucratic red-tape that hamstrings businesses.
Duterte met with Senate President Vicente Sotto III, House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano, and House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez at the Malago Clubhouse in Malacañang on September 16.
Both House and Senate leadership, according to him, promised to pass additional legislation that will eliminate excessive bureaucracy and corruption.
