The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases has allowed the training of student-athletes in areas under general community quarantine (GCQ) and modified GCQ.
In his virtual presser Monday, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque announced that student-athletes have been permitted to resume workouts.
Last July, the government allowed the resumption of practices for basketball and football following the request of the Philippine Basketball Association and the Philippine Football Federation.
