Instead of harboring ill feelings towards his bashers, Senator Manny Pacquiao uses them to his advantage.
In an interview with GMA Network’s Kapuso Showbiz News, Pacquiao said he’s teaching his children they can’t please everyone.
Recalling what he told his children, the eight-division world boxing champ said: “Before ‘yung daddy niyo rin, from the beginning of my career until now, may mga basher talaga. Pero ‘yung mga basher na ‘yun hindi ako galit sa kanila. Doon ako humuhugot ng inspirasyon para ipakita sa sarili ko na hindi ako gano’n.”.
Pacquiao said his son, Michael, has a hard time dealing with bashers as he tries his hand in rapping.
“Hindi siya sanay doon sa mga… siyempre, hindi lahat ng [tao] sa social media magsu-support sa’yo, magpupuri sa’yo, may mga basher din. Minsan hindi niya ma-handle, nalulungkot siya, minsan umiiyak, nagsusumbong sa amin,” he said.
