The Philippine government’s orders for COVID-19 vaccine may not be due for arrival in early 2021, but flamboyant politiko (FP) found a way to have himself immunized against the dreaded disease.
FP recently set an appointment with his doctor (HD) to receive a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. FP asked HD if he could bring four of his friends with him to be vaccinated. HD reluctantly agreed.
HD, however, got the shock of his life when FP arrived for their appointment with not four, but several individuals who wanted to get a shot of the prized vaccine.
Among those who gatecrashed FP’s vaccination appointment was a businessman, whom HD happened to know.
While FP’s uninvited guests probably had the means to pay for the vaccine, it’s likely that he brought him to the doctor to show off his connections and curry their favor.
Perhaps he’s thinking his guests will repay the debt of gratitude to him when he makes a go for his political ambition in 2022.
