Department of Labor and Employment Undersecretary Joji Aragon has died from coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
The death of Lim, 90, was confirmed by Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III on Sunday.
“Around 4 a.m., I received a text message from her daughter. Huminto daw ang tibok ng puso,” Bello said in an interview on Dobol B sa News TV.
“Inaayos na ang kanyang cremation because she died of COVID,” he added.
Aragon was undersecretary of the Wages and Productivity, Legislative, Advocacy and Internal Auditing Cluster.
