Covid- 19 vaccines developed by Chinese drugmaker Sinovac are expected to arrive in the Philippines on February 23, Malacañang announced Thursday.
A total of 600,000 doses of Sinovac vaccines will be delivered two weeks from now, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a virtual presser.
Roque noted that 100,000 of these shots were donated by China for Filipino soldiers.
“Ang bakuna na Sinovac na galing ng China nakaukit na po sa bato ang pagdating,” the Palace official said.
“23 February darating po ang Sinovac, 600,000, pero ang 100,000 ay donasyon ng Tsina para sa kasundaluhan sa Department of National Defense,” he added.
