Magpapaubaya na! Robredo to retire if daughter Aika decides to run for Cam Sur guv

Vice President Leni Robredo will retire from politics if her eldest daughter, Aika, decides to try her luck in the 2022 elections.

In an interview with GMA News Saturday (February 20), Robredo said she made it clear to Aika that the two of them can’t be politikos at the same time.

Aika is being prodded to run for governor of Camarines Sur, a post currently held by Miguel “Migz” Villafuerte, who is on his last term.

The Vice President said she broached the idea of running for governor herself after she found out about calls for Aika to consider vying for the position.

So sa akin siya nagsimula,” she said.

Robredo, however, said she’s still undecided whether to return to local politics or run for president in 2022.
