Leni-Kiko tandem least favorite to win: pre-election survey

The possible presidential tandem of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis Pangilinan in 2022 would lose if the election were held today, results of the Pulse Asia survey showed.

According to the poll conducted between February 10 and 19, Liberal Party’s Robredo-Pangilinan tandem got the lowest voter preference at 8 percent.

The pair scored 8 percent in NCR; 11 percent in Balance Luzon, 9 percent in Visayas; and 0 percent in Mindanao.

The tandem of Senator Christopher Go and President Duterte topped the pre-election survey, with 32 percent preference. The pair was also the top choice of Filipino voters in Visayas (39 percent) and Mindanao (62 percent) and across all socioeconomic classes.

The tandem of Senator Grace Poe and Senate President Vicente Sotto III, on one hand, came in second with 23 percent. The pair also won among voters in Balance Luzon (30 percent).

The tandems of former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Senator Emmanuel Pacquiao (17 percent), and Senator Panfilo Lacson and Manila City Mayor Francisco Domagoso (11 percent) placed third and fourth, respectively.

Marcos and Pacquiao got the highest score in the National Capital Region with 22 percent.
