Is there leadership trouble in the city of San Juan?
Former San Juan congressional candidate Edu Manzano has openly called for having an efficient leader like Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto in his home town.
Manzano posted on Instagram a photo Sotto with the message “Sana may Vico din sa San Juan.” The actor/politiko said he has not met Sotto but heaped praises on the young mayor for his achievements as local chief executive of Pasig City.
“The achiever is the life of the party while the underachiever stands alone. Congratulations. And I have never even met him. #pasigcity #mayor #deservingofrespect #CTTO,” he said.
San Juan, currently led by Mayor Francis Zamora, is among the cities that reported high cases of coronavirus. The mayor recently tested positive for the virus.
As of March 10, San Juan has recorded 4,339 cases of infection with 106 deaths. At least 4,039 have recovered from the illness.
Manzano lost his bid to the House representative of the lone district of San Juan to Ronaldo Zamora, father of Mayor Francis.
