Malacañang wants the inclusion of media practitioners in the list of priority population groups for Covid-19 vaccination.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque proposed that journalists and other members of the media should be included in the “A4” category.
“Ipinaglalaban pa rin natin ang mapasama sa A4 ang media,” Roque said in a televised briefing Tuesday.
“Hindi pa po tapos ang listahan ng A4 dahil nga po may mga isyu pa gaya ng mga miyembro ng media kung mapapasama. So antayin po natin ang pinal na usapin tungkol dito,” he added.
Under the list of priority groups for the Covid-19 vaccine rollout, the A4 includes frontline personnel in essential sectors, including uniformed personnel and those in working sectors identified by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases as essential during enhanced community quarantine.
