Surviving coronavirus: Angara thankful for gift of life

Senator Sonny Angara is grateful for his second chance in life after beating the coronavirus illness last year.

Angara remembered his coronavirus infection a year ago by reposting an old post on Facebook. The senator expressed thanks for recovering from the illness.

“Thankful everyday for the gift of life. #OneYearAgo,” he wrote on Facebook.

On March 26, 2020, Angara announced that he tested positive for the coronavirus disease and stayed at a hospital for treatment. He said he was feeling some symptoms such as mild fever, cough, headaches, and
general weakness.

By early April, he recovered from the coronavirus and returned home. His hospital expenses reached P400,000.

In May, the senator tested positive again for coronavirus. His doctors however told him he was probably no longer infectious since the test result showed only remnants of the virus in his body.

Thankful everyday for the gift of life. 🙏🏼 #OneYearAgo
