Lugaw is life.
Vice President Leni Robredo is feeling satisfied after having some lugaw and tokwa’t baboy for lunch Wednesday. The veep posted a snap of her lunch meal while volunteering as a chat agent in the telemedicine service initiated by her office.
“Spicy lugaw with tokwa’t baboy for lunch while volunteering as a chat agent for our Bayanihan e-Konsulta patients,” she wrote on Facebook.
The Office of the Vice President recently opened a Facebook page offering telemedicine where COVID-19 suspect and confirmed cases can consult a doctor free of charge. The Bayanihan e-Konsulta page is available on Facebook’s free data service.
Robredo has volunteered to be among the chat agent to ease the backlog in the tele consultation service.
“We’re trying to catch up with our backlogs dahil andaming pasyente,” she said.
Apart from the telemedicine project, the OVP previously launched a mobile antigen testing project called “Swab Cab.” The bus travels to areas with high COVID-19 transmission rates to offer free testing to residents.
