JV asks for prayers for dad Erap

Former President Joseph Estrada’s battle against the coronavirus infection continues. And his loved ones are asking for prayers for his swift recovery.

Former Senator JV Ejercito made an appeal for prayers for his father through his latest post on Twitter.

“Please continue praying for my dad. 🙏🏽,” Ejercito tweeted on Monday, April 5.

Estrada, former Manila mayor, has been confined at the hospital since he tested positive for the coronavirus late last month.

A medical bulletin shared by his son former Senator Jinggoy Estrada showed the former president has been sedated and moved to the intensive care unit. The 83-year-old former leader remained “in a stable but guarded condition,” Jinggoy’s post read.

“While he needed to be placed on high flow oxygen support, we are thankful that there has been no need to put him on a ventilator,” the young Estrada said in a Facebook post last Sunday, April 4.
